WMIC è disponibile in Windows 11?

Microsoft ha deprecato la funzionalità WMICe lo ha disabilitato per impostazione predefinita sulle build di Windows 11 Insider a partire dal 29 gennaio 2024. Originariamente WMIC era deprecato nel 2016 su Windows. Da allora, è disponibile come Feature on Demand (FoD) come parte di Windows 11 22H2. I FoD possono essere aggiunti a Windows 11 in qualsiasi momento e lavorare su di essi. La funzionalità su richiesta è abilitata per impostazione predefinita nelle versioni Windows 11 22H2 e successive. Ma, a partire dal 29 gennaio 2024, saranno disabilitati per impostazione predefinita a partire dalle build insider di Windows 11.

Cosa ha sostituito WMIC?

WMIC viene sostituito da Windows PowerShell per WMI. Microsoft ha investito molto in Windows PowerShell. Microsoft afferma che forniscono un modo più efficiente per interrogare WMI. Riduce la complessità del codice e mantiene gli utenti più sicuri e produttivi.
